Get in Touch
We love hearing from fellow homeowners and DIY enthusiasts. Whether you have a question about a specific project, want to share your own home improvement journey, or just want to say hello, we’re here to listen.

How to reach us
The best way to get our attention is email. We read everything that comes in and try to respond within a few days. We keep things simple here — no routing through forms, no “we’ll get back to you in 5–7 business days” promises.
We genuinely enjoy connecting with people who are thinking through their own projects. Your specific situation matters, and a thoughtful email gets a thoughtful reply.

What we do not do
We’re a resource and a personal blog, not a consulting firm or a design service. We don’t take on projects, bid jobs, or provide professional design advice. We document what we’ve done, share what we’ve learned, and point you toward resources that have helped us.
We’re here to share experience, not to become your contractor or designer. When you need that, we’ll happily recommend someone who can actually do the work.
Before you write
A quick checklist to make sure we can actually help with what you’re asking:
| If you’re asking about | What we’ll do | What to expect |
| A project you’re planning | Share what we did, what worked, what didn’t | A thoughtful email back within a few days |
| A specific product or material | Tell you what we’ve used and what we think | Honest feedback, not a sales pitch |
| A contractor or service question | Point you to resources like the ones we use | Links and guidance, not endorsements |
| Hiring help or professional advice | We’ll say clearly that we’re not the right fit | A quick reply with no guilt on either side |
That’s it. We’re easy to work with because our scope is clear — we’re sharing a homeowner’s honest experience, not running a business. Send us what’s on your mind, and we’ll take it from there.
